This incredible
Bald Eagle American Flag sculptor speaks to the American spirit! Each talon, feather and wing of this eagle statue is intricately
sculpted by wood carving artist Peter Cantillo. Cast in quality architectural plaster, Hydrocal FGR-95, and meticulously finished
in wood stain or metallic. This exclusive Bald Eagle American Flag sculpture is a symbol of USA. Interior or Exterior
use. Made in the USA. Made from: Fiberglass Reinforced Gypsum [FRG] and Glass Reinforced Gypsum [GRG]. This includes gypsum plaster
reinforced with glass fibers to produce a thin, lightweight, yet strong material. Gypsum plaster is a natural and safe
material. Fiberglass by its self is a natural and safe material, made by heating sand, not to be confused with Fiberglass
Resin or Polyester. We do not use resins. The chopped fiberglass is added into the plaster to add strength. Many
ornate buildings in Las Vegas and Western Europe, including the Vatican use the FRG system.Finished in an interior exterior metallic
paint or wood stain.YOU WILL NEVER FIND A SCULPTOR WITH THIS FINE A DETAIL FOR THIS PRICE AGAIN.How it’s done: I travel to Central and South
America to employ some of the world’s finest wood sculptors. After instructing the artists of my scene and paying them
very well, I obtain releases and export permission papers, most pieces return with me on airline carry-on luggage. Returning
to the US I apply for a Copyright on the carving. I reproduce them in a small shop in Orlando Florida, using high quality
plasters; FRG-95. The transfer from the high quality silicon mold to the copy has extraordinary detail, showing every wood
grain and pour. Using special primers, stain finishes, tools and techniques, we are able to achieve an effect that looks
better than the original wood carving or foundry casting, this material is strong and has a very hard durable finish
that is not easily scratched or worn. It's weather resistant, waterproof and can be displayed for exterior use. It will not
warp or cup. The special metal paints we use has powdered
bronze, copper and alumunum mixture and retails at around $400.00 per gallon. It is waxed and buffed sevearal times to achieve
the desired finish. Then sealed to prevent the sculptor from patina or rusting. An original foundry casting of bronze, copper or alumunum
would cost many thousands of dollars. In fact any gallery in the world would price a releaf sculptor this size, unique scene and
detail at around US $10,000.
If you have an Idea for a wood carved scene,
contact us and we will give you an evaluation and a quote. I can reproduce as many copies of the original as you like,
exclusively for you. Or if you just want the original that’s fine also. Besides the scene, you would have to tell
us if you want it signed and dated by the artist, the dimensions, thick, wide and long, what species of wood, we usually use
Ceiba Roja, Pine, South American Cedar, [ not to be confused with American Red Cedar], Carreto/Padderwood, and American
Red Oak, that is the wood we used for the United States Flag carving But we can use many other species. We never use threatened
wood species. We can accommodate you for whatever your needs are for this sort of art. Thank you, Ralph N.
